The Conference promotes professional growth through education, training, information sharing and networking and the vendor tradeshow gives OPTA members the opportunity to learn about the state-of-the-art technology and cutting-edge equipment that is driving public transit in the 21st Century;

 

Receive a complimentary subscription to Transit Briefings, OPTA’s quarterly newsletter featuring information about regulations, legislation, funding, equipment, technology, news from agencies across the state, and upcoming events;

Are eligible to serve on committees dedicated to information technology, human resources, marketing, mechanics and other transportation and transit-related topics;

Have access to the services of our full-time Executive Director who coordinates and guides Association activities, oversees implementation of OPTA’s Strategic Plan, prepares for quarterly Board of Directors meetings, plans all the Association’s programs and activities, and facilitates communication between members;

Are to share insights and information with other members, vendors, and transit professionals.
